BD is a very reliable source. The bit about the album possibly being a Pink Floyd one is very suspect though. Even if I would prefer by far an involvement of Rick and Nick, in this case it would be a return to an AMLOR style album, instead of the classic jamming approach used on the composition of TDB. Something I find quite strange if you ask me. If this actually turns out to be the decision it's also possible that Rick brings his own material which we know is working on.

One of my bandmates who also works with Guy Pratt told me that it is a Gilmour solo album...

I hope Gilmour is working hard and makes a decent album.
I would be dissapointed if it turns out to be crummy music, I will be good if he stays with the Floyd sound.

Either way, this woul be very good news...with or without Nick and Rick....is it not?

Yes... um, sort of. I have been rarely impressed by solo albums. Just speaking for myself though.

David has been recording this album since the late 90's, people. It's not coming out any time soon. The "possible Floyd participation" is probably bullocks, too.

Strange how only Brain Damage could claim there's gonna be another Floyd album at least once a month and get away with it, not losing any of their "credibility," etc.

It's important to remember that brain-damage.co.uk weren't reporting "that story" as such, they were merely presenting a translation of this article which appeared in "Poland's most reputable newspaper." Not to say that it's completely wrong, but Nick said recently that he hasn't made any contribution to this album so far.
