Re: About the rankings.

How prone are the rep points to abuse?

I can quite easily see two posters staying up way too late giving each other low ratings on posts just for fun.

Well not that prone, when you good rep someone it gives the person a fraction of points and I think it goes for the bad also, and you have to good or bad rep someone else before you can rep someone agian. And if someone reps someone and signs their name as someone else then you can report it to the mods and they can take care of it. On eBaums world, if you have over a certain rep points then you can get a premium account, which then you can access a premium forum, see who repped you and get an ad free environment. Its really fun.

Yep, reputation points are something we've thought about, although with a bit different implementation that that of the eBaums forums. We'll see.

Yeah, there was a thread on this when we were going through our there-is-a-group-of-elitists phase.

Paulo, I am also a member at www.trackpads.com

There, you can recieve "Karma" (similar to reputation points). The webmaster has disabled "negetive karma".

Have a look if you wish

cheers,
