The Final Cut, not a real floyd album.

As wondering what you guys think of TFC?

I do not accept this album as a Floyd album. Obviously this is a Roger Waters solo debut. I don’t understand why they released this album as a Pink Floyd album. This album is so inferior to all there work form previous years, and to follow up the Wall with this album is a bit of a joke. I think Waters should have released this album under his name only. I don’t hate this album; I think it’s a real bad Floyd album and an ok Waters solo. I even think Pros & Cons would have made a better Floyd album then this. Also this album is a good exmaple of the wrong dirction there were going under waters iron fist in the bands control.

I don't consider TFC as a real Pink Floyd album me too. I think all the song are quite the same except a few ones. It's not a bad album but it's style is completly different compared to the other albums.

If you guys think TFC was a Waters solo album and don't like it, what do you think of A Momentary Lapse of Reason?
It was pretty much a Gilmour solo album.

By the way, I love both the albums no matter what.

Mason and Wright were much more a part of AMLOR than TFC.

This is debatable. In fact, we have debated all of this before, please search the forums before starting a new topic.
