Arrow Tommy,Pink,Crimson Idol and Psychoderelict:Whats Common in them?

Tommy by WHO/Pink By Floyd/Crimson Idol by W.A.S.P./Psychoderelict by Pete Townshend.
These are all protoganists of the music albums. Now whats common between them and which one is your favourite?Mine is PINK & Tommy ;see both are told to bare themselves unlikeothers.3 are losers while Baba O'reilly doeswin in the ned but loses us.

Hmm, I don't know anything about Crimson Idol, and I've never really payed much attention to Baba O'reilly. I guess the similarities between Tommy and Pink is that things eventually turn out for the best (destroying of the wall, miracle cure). Both of them go through hell...however Pink's is self-induced while Tommy is a victim.

It's of note that the protagonist in "Psychoderelict" is Ray High (not Baba O'Reily...that's a whole different thing all together).

Other rock opera protagonists worth mentioning:
-Nicky (Queensryche, "Operation Mindcrime")
-Jimmy the Mod (The Who, "Quadrophenia")
-Rael (Genesis, "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway")
-Nicolas (Dream Theater, "Scenes From A Memory")
-Ziggy (David Bowie, "Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars")
-Ovo (Peter Gabriel, "OVO")

Indeed, Lo,

my vote would go to Jimmy the Mod.

For me it's a tie between Jimmy and Ziggy, though Ziggy doesn't really do much in his story except prance around and freak out, so I'll nod to Jimmy.

How about him?

Oh, and I guess we can include David from Porcupine Tree's "Deadwing".

Let's not forget Cerpin Taxt of the Mars Volta's "De-Loused in the Comatorium". Or perhaps Frances the Mute?

Or how could we forget about Frank from Tom Waits' 'Frank's Wild Years'.
