Unhappy I Had the Most Horrible Floyd-Nightmare

...and no it wasn't the one where I die, go to hell, and the music on the loudspeaker is "Sysyphus Part 3" over and over for eternity. This was much worse. And it's all true (true as in I really dreamt it).
In this dream, Pink Floyd finally made another album. Now in real life that would be a dream come true, but this is not the way it should be.
In the dream last week, the album was not Floyd at all: I remember reading a review of the album on the APFFN bulletin board (which is why I haven't posted in a week... maybe it was God saying: "Um...maybe you should do something else with your time").
And the album was bashed and bashed throughout the board, from all three "camps" of fans: the neutral, the post-Waters supporters and the post-Waters haters.
Apparently, the album was called "Planet..." something, I can't remember the second word. Sort of like Dylan's "Planet Waves" I guess, I dunno. The album cover reminded me of the cover of ELO's album "Time," but with more stuff on it.
But WHY did everyone hate it, you ask? Because Dave, Rick, and Nick only played together on ONE song on the album. I believe there were nine songs on the album in all. The rest of the songs were either *just* Dave with session musicians, or on some...it was not even Dave at all, but rather BOB EZRIN doing all the songwriting and arranging session musicians.
I remember seeing Dave giving an interview and looking very smug. I couldn't hear what he was saying.

Oh, it was awful!

Re: I Had the Most Horrible Floyd-Nightmare

A couple weeks ago I had a dream where I met Gilmour.
I met him, he was working in a mine, he drove an early 90's jeep cherokee, white.
He was very calm, he lived alone.
In the dream I told him about this site, he was surprised at it.
He wanted to support us here as much as possible, it was fun!
But when I woke up it sucked cause it was back to regular life without David.

Yeah but the scary thing is, my dream could actually happen!

Re: I Had the Most Horrible Floyd-Nightmare

I once dreamed I met gilmour and he tried to steal my girlfriend from me. At first I was amazed but then I realized he had ulterior motives so I felt like kicking his ass.The funny thing is I didn't even had a girlfriend back then. Weird huh?

Ah and Mason was there too but he didn't do or say anything.

Hm....I took a 45-minute high school psychology class and dropped out after a few days, that makes me an expert so I'll interpret your dream:
Obviously you had some subconscious fear that if you had a girlfriend she would cheat on you, possibly from a bad previous relationship. Why was it David Gilmour?.....I don't know. Had you done anything Floyd-related before the dream?

That's okay, no one asked if you had or hadn't.
