Jugband blues????

what is Jugband?

A band of musicians in which the primary instrument is a hollow container (usually a discarded liquor bottle of the homemade variety), across the mouth of which air is blown to make a low-pitched "thooot" noise. Strangely, neither the lyrics nor the music of this song ever directly refer to this phenomenon.

For some reason Jugband Blues has climbed into the norwegian single chart the last two weeks (17 and 19). A few years ago the way the chart was changed, so it also included downloaded music. Some old hits has now and reached the chart, but I can't remember such a "rare" song like Jugband Blues being there before.
