Best drum performance

I haven't found this in other threads.

What do you think is Nick Masons best drum performance?

I like his playing on Dogs, especially on Dave's solos.

Red face Re: Best drum performance

I like his solo song deal (with the flute) on Ummaguma.
It's kinda John Bonham 'ish, which is always good.

I like Time...outside of that....he's just a drummer...I don't think he brings much to the table.

Re: Best drum performance

Have A Cigar - I like how the drums shift to a different pattern during the gtr solo ending/fade, something like Ian Paice's approach to playing;

+ there's a short drum piece on " Man & Journey " which is also cool

Re: Best drum performance

As a solo id say Up the Kyber. The Nile Song also sounds awsome. But Live at Pompeii tops em!
