Hidden Message in Empty Spaces (The Wall)

Hey everyone,
In the Song Empty Spaces on the wall, I have heard that if you play the song backwards then you will hear a hidden message that says, "Congratulations. You have just discovered the secret message. Send your answer to Old Pink in care of the funny farm." And then a second person says: "Roger, Carolyn is on the phone." What do people think of this? Is it true, I have heard it but I dont know if it was doctored because I listened to it on a website http://members.surfsouth.com/~breezy/
Is it more like the crazy things about beetle album covers? Or is it actually legit?

Not to stray from the song at hand, but as "Goodbye Blue Sky" leads into "Empty Spaces", I can distinctly hear a crabby voice in the background saying something. Anybody else hear it?

Maybe that is the backwards message you are hearing...?

I don't think so. I've heard the "Empty Spaces" message played at regular speed and forward, and this is definitely not it. Just listen real hard as "Goodbye Blue Sky" ends, and in the background, you'll hear a voice speaking, and the speaker sounds as if he is in a place where one's voice would echo. But I have considered the possibility that it could be the same message, just with a different tone and such.

1. Yes, the backwards message you heard is found as mentioned on Empty Spaces. For those who are ultra curious, you can always D/L the mp3 , convert it to way and reverse it to hear it. There's not a lot interesting. The only part of some note it that intentionally or not, Roger is interrupted by a phone call from Carolyn. She was his then wife and inspiration for a lot of the songs about relationship problems. Not surprisingly, Carolyn and Pink..errr Roger are no longer together.

2. The voices at the end of Mother are flight announcements from an airport.
