We all know Roger wrote all the lyrics from the Dark Side to TFC but of course the Narrow Way was before Roger took control of all the lyrics, so does anyone know who wrote the lyrics to this song?

100% certain. It was Dave Gilmour. Dave wanted Roger to write him some lyrics, but Rog told him to piss off.

Speaking of the lyrics to "The Narrow Way (Part 3)", why aren't they printed in the booklet of the studio "Ummagumma" CD? Or is it just my copy?
By the way--"I'd never written anything before. I just went into the studio and started waffling out, tacking bits and pieces together. I rang up Roger at one point and asked him to write me some lyrics. He just said, 'No.'" [-David Gilmour.]

Speaking of "The Narrow Way", I don't particularly care for the transcription I have at my website. I don't know why, but I have a hard time understanding parts of it.

I'd seen the same thing Talking Head had. Besides--if Mr. Waters ALLOWED him full credit, then that means RW didn't even write "a" or "the" in it!
