Volume pedals

This might sound like a dumb thread, and many ways it is. But, I've got a Vox volume pedal. When buying it, i didnt think of trying any other since how the heck could there be much of a difference. Well here i am, and im thinking that the pedal is to slack. There is too little resistanse in the pedal so i cant use it accuratly (well not yet). I dont feel i can control it good enough. Well i know theres like ernie ball volume pedals, and im wondering. For those of you who have tried both or other pedals, are the vox ones extremly lewse, or is it just me or the pedal ive got...

Re: Volume pedals

Here's what you do:

Go to the store and get a pack of good chewing gum. Chew it nice and good, and stick it behind your pedal. Should stiffen it up good over time.

Seriously, not to insult your intelligence.....but there is no adjustment screw? I'd maybe try taking it back for another...or fool around with it long enough that you get used to it.

Good luck,

Re: Volume pedals

I dont believe there is. I got it back yesterday from my bandplace, and looking under the "hood", i cant see any "aha thats the one" screws.. Ive sent an email to vox though asking...Ill probably just get used to it.
