if they are two seperate things like the listing suggests, then why aren't there two different tracks for them, like there is on the PULSE version? also why isn't "breahte reprise" after time listed as part b of track 3 or even a seperate track, when it is listed in the lyric booklet that came with my copy of the CD as a different song alltogether?

Re: why are speak to me and breathe on the same track, but listed as parts a and b

Some editions DO have them as separate tracks. It's up to the mastering engineer to decide how to band each track or whether to separate them at all. I prefer to skip over the overly drawn-out PULSE version, so I'm grateful for the separation, but why on earth would I ever want to skip "Breathe (Reprise)"?

To answer your question, there's probably no rhyme or reason.

I thought it was to give Nick Mason some writing credits for DSotM so he could get some of the $$ action

I think it`s the end of Time, when it sounds like Breathe but with different lyrics.

Breath Reprise is at the end of time with the lyrics: Home, Home Again etc... to the same music as Breathe. Any Colour You Like is the cool instrumental track after Us and Them

You guys are right - I had an old cassette cover which lists ACYL as Breathe reprise

Some of the chord books list "ACYL" as "Breathe (Second Reprise)" because it's essentially the same chord progression, transposed.

Any colour you like is the reggae-ish sounding keyboard driven song that has the same progression as Breathe transposed to another key.
Breathe(reprise) is on the end of Time, and is considered part of Time. I have never seen them listed seperately.

Also, as I see it, if you count Speak to Me and Breathe as separate tracks, the 2 instrumentals (On the Run and Any Color You Like) become mirror images.

Then what, pray tell, are the lyrics for "Speak To Me"?
