No. There may be an "anthology" of clips and promo films released on DVD in the distant future, but nothing like a complete show (unless it turns out that Roger has been sitting on loads of high-quality footage of the 1980-1 tour that we've never seen). Either way, don't hold your breath: the 1994 Pulse concert will be issued on DVD first, followed by more 30th anniversary SACDs. Anything else is years away at this point.

I believe grimble_grumble is referring to official releases, not random pirated shows that some chancer has put up on eBay or the like.

Yeah - I have some of this shit. For it is, for the most part, basically unwatchable.

Re: 70's-80's concerts on dvd?

It appears that we may soon be seeing a new DVD featuring some completely unseen footage from the late 60's and early 70's... check it out! This is, despite its short running time, the best footage I've ever seen of the classic Floyd lineup performing LIVE, in the flesh, at the peak of their powers!

I just emailed the guy about what exactly will be included, here's what I got:

Quote:
Thanks for asking! When the DVD is 2 weeks from shipping date, an
Email will be sent to you with specific instructions on how to order. You
must make payment at this time because we expect demand to vastly outweigh
the supply and so securing your copy would be highly recommended. No doubt
there will be dvd-r copies made and sold cheaply all over the place but what
we want everyone to know is that this DVD represents many hours of dedicated
labor by some seriously devoted Pink Floyd fans and the proceeds from the
sales all go towards recovering more lost footage. Estimated time of
Arrival at this moment could realistically be around the first week of
Septembre.
Peace!

More info:

BBC 1968 - 15m color (Set the Controls 3 live takes + composite)
Bath 70 - 26m b/w (AHM w/choir)
Amsterdam 1972 - 38m b/w (AHM, Careful with that Axe and Saucerful or
Secrets)
All footage taken from original master tape sources. REGION FREE
