Legendary British rockers Pink Floyd are rumoured to be in talks to reform for Live Aid 2.

If the reunion goes ahead it will be the first time the band, guitarist Dave Gilmour, bassist and vocalist Roger Waters, keyboard player Rick Wright and drummer Nick Mason, have all been together on stage since Waters left and sued Gilmour in 1986 to try and win sole rights to use the band's name.

A source said: "They've all been approached and we're hoping they can put their differences behind them and join the concert".

A galaxy of music stars have already been lined up to perform at the spectacular July event - scheduled to be held simultaneously in London and Washington DC - to coincide with the G8 Summit.

Acts rumoured to be playing, include Paul McCartney, Oasis, U2 and Elton John in the UK, and Eminem, Madonna and Sting in the US.

This also appeared in todays Sunday Mirror newspaper.

Well its ok to hope, but nah, not gonna happen. Well the rumour of Live Aid "2" seems to be correct. Maybe we will see Gilmour this time too.

I dont know if im gonna cry or be happy. If they do reunite to do only one fucking concert its gonna burn like hell. But all is better than no concert at all.

This seems rather unlikely but you have to live in hope. The whole im never working with that man again from both gilmore and waters kinda makes it seem unlikely

I never thought I would say this but I hope it doesn't happen. Obviously its not going to anyway but I will be out of the country if it did and that would be too much to bare

Well, I heard about the possibilities of the reunited Floyd on the Sirius Sat radio, but dont put much weight in that stuff. Would sure like to see it, but think there's just to much bad blood leftover. Going to fly to England if true, but think my bank accounts safe for right now.
