| The Australian Pink Floyd Show I went into the show with a very bad attitude, because it is a Pink Floyd cover band, and if they screwed it up I would have wasted 40 bucks. However, they nailed every single beat. Not only did they nail it musically, they also nailed it in the time when the album came out. Every song sounded like a really loud version of the cd track, except with a light show, and props (including a large pink kangaroo). It was simply the best concert I have ever seen, and it flowed very well from title to title (the entire first 45 minutes was the dark side of the moon). I wasn't prepared to endorce the band, but I also found out that they toured with Floyd in 1994. Gilmour went to one of their shows and was so impressed that they invited them along. Now THAT, is a cover band. |
