Re: Tickets, Please!

I bet there will be some very cool people at the show selling a spare ticket for a very reasonable price, but i'm sure there will also be plenty of a**holes too. I went to a nine inch nails concert in philly in may and there was a guy about to sell a spare ticket to a kid that was obviously a fan for the face value of 30 dollars. A scalper that had already sold tickets for over 150 quick yelled to the guy that he would give him 80 for the ticket, and the kid looked a bit angry. But the guy refused to sell it to the scalper and sold it to the kid for 30. On the way home me and my friends were on the train talking to a girl that was at the show, and she told us that she paid 180 to see it and she saw the first show the night before and paid 65 for it. I was just glad me and my friends were sitting right at our computers as soon as the internet pre-sale happened.

Sorry for maybe seeming solicitous, I'm not at all but I know this would mean most to us rather than going on ebay and selling to some teenyboppers.
ME! ME! ME! ME!

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

I still haven't got my text msg with only one day to go - oh, my dear lord, please may I have them?

Re: Tickets, Please!

It would be great to have a fellow APFFN"er be at the show, Byron you deserve them, if you bring back plenty of pictures.

Re: Tickets, Please!

I don't know how much more I deserve them over another APFFNer but I suspect Cle is hoping for monetary award of a level I canmot afford presently - which is why I am begging. Hell! I've already spent £15 and 10 x normal text charges. What else do they want? Blood?

So, like the majority of us Floydians, I shall watch (record) it on the one-eyed gogglebox.

Re: Tickets, Please!

I doubt the Americans will be watching it on any box, as I have yet to see an announcement that any cable station is willing to air the concert (in part or whole).

Rumors that BBCA are going to air it seem wrong as they usually wait five to ten years before they ship BBC shows to us, not that it would matter for me, since going from Dish to cable I lost BBCA anyway.

Re: Tickets, Please!

That would be about 8 pounds. A fair deal I'd say.
