Talking Pink Floyd Rocks

I love Pink Floyd! Everyone usually says their favorite album is Dark Side of the Moon but as great as that album is, I think Echos would be my favorite. One of my co-workers at UMGD compared them to Rush, saying it was one of their influences. I never listened to Rush before, but after watching their new DVD, I am now a fan. Neil rocks at drums! Visit www.rush.com for more info about the DVD

Come on!!! I agree that some of floyds music is great. But they have written so much crappy music its really embarrassing to listen at times. You take the good with the bad right.

As far as your worshipping goes, do u also worship twinkies and Jesus and T.V. and....

Dont's waste your worshipping energy on floyd man. They are just mortals with $ on their minds who happened to write some catcy tunes.

Re: Pink Floyd Rocks

I love how this has turned into an actual thread. It's obvious that whoever posted this has some affiliation w/ Rush.com or something. Something's going on here.

Re: Pink Floyd Rocks

This is a Rush robot.

Don't treat it like a human!!

This person is saying Rush is an influence to Pink Floyd, and that Echos is a better album than Dark Side of the Moon!!

Smile Re: Pink Floyd Rocks

Ha ha nice one. I just happen to like Rush in addition to Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, etc. They are all in the classic rock category are they not? People who like a certain artist usually like affiliates of that artist. Just wondering if anyone checked out the DVD. As far as Dark Side of the Moon being the best Floyd album, I still disagree. Especially since I have friends who know nothing about the band and have that album because it has Money on it. Its all in opinion I guess.

I say that any thread that gets two posts from BoaB in the first 13 is a great thread.

And, yes the Rush DVD is outstanding. Brazilians know how to 'worship' a rock band (see the middle solo part in 'Freewill').
