Re: Tom Cruise. A bit of a drip?

I think Tom was in the right to be pissed off. If I were giving an interview and suddenly got squirted with water, I might be pissed too. The guy shouldn't have been arrested though, they should have just let them settle it like men. . .with a fight to the death.

Maybe Tom is afraid that the dousing may dampen his love for Katie....

The guy is an ass.

Since I'd have been equally angry about getting soaked out of the blue like that, I'll side with Mr. Cruise on this one. No one has the right to turn a hose on you, whether you're famous or not.

On other issues, I'll go with 'drip'. Anyone who'll buy into Scientology lacks critical faculties.

I think he was great. He didnt attack him, controlled his temper. It was a dumb thing to do. He is nice and having an interview, and this idiot squirts water on him?

Re: Tom Cruise. A bit of a drip?

Tom cruise has just been acting peculiar as it is (more so than usual). He's got the media pissed off at him, Steven Spielberg's pissed at him, I'm pissed off at him etc. And I don't buy into this whole Katie Holmes thing. It's all just too convenient.

I have nothing against Cruise. He always seemed like a good guy and his movies are enjoyable, but his recent behaviour is just plain weird.

I would agree with that, but pressing charges may be a bit drastic.

Then again I heard that it was done for a new hidden camera show--if that were the case then I wholely support him pressing charges and possibly suing.

Cruise deserved it. The man is an attention whore who makes an arse out of himself on Oprah, but when somebody does something just as silly to him, he gets all self-righteous. Yeah, way to go Tom. Scientology is latin for overgrown babies.

Re: Tom Cruise. A bit of a drip?

I think Tom is brilliant, but maybe he is a little bit too serious sometimes. I think I would have been a little pissed off too about the water squirting. Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he has to act all polite like nothings bothering him. At least he was honest.

...hmmmm, I was just reading that he is suing a guy called Kyle Bradford. Seemingly they 'allegedly' had an affair after he split with Nicole?

Oooh he's so cute you could just pick him up and put him in your pocket and take him home with you..... I would keep him in a drawer and when ever I was blue I would get him out and his dimples would warm my cockles... bless him

Re: Tom Cruise. A bit of a drip?

At the risk of repeating others in the thread, some Tool lyrics seem appropriate for the subject at hand:

Quote:
F*ck L. Ron Hubbard and f*ck all his clones
Learn to swim, learn to swim, learn to swim, learn to swim
Because I'm praying for rain and I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way. I wanna watch it all go down.
Ma, please flush it all away. I wanna see it go right in and down.
I wanna watch it go right in, watch you flush it all away.
