This is the only Buffalo Springfield site I know about.

Might be a starting point. You may be surprised to find out who was playing on that song, if you aren't familiar with the band.

Re: For what its worth...

While it spoils the joke, Fulghy's referring to Neil Young.

Other members of the band included Stephen Stills, Richie Furay, Jim Messina, and Dewey Martin. Stephen Stills wrote For What It's Worth.

I'm going to assume it was Neil Young who did the lead, and you can find out what he uses here.

EDIT: Here's another link. Relevant quote:

Quote:
JO: What effects do you use the most?

NY: An original tube Echoplex, an MXR analog delay, a Boss flanger, and an old white Fender reverb unit with new springs that are separate. The springs are on a microphone stand that goes on the cement floor of the building. It extends up to the bottom of the stage, and the spring stands on top of the microphone stand and the wire comes through a hole in the stage completely separate. I can't use it if I don't do that, because if I jump onstage, the spring rattles. It has to be isolated from the surface of anything that's vibrating.

I will also don my riot gear before mentioning my favorite Neil Young tune is T-Bone, from the Reactor album.

Got mashed potatoes. Ain't got no t-bone.
