Question I'm on a mission

Hello All!

I was in Ames, Iowa (USA) for PF's concert there in July 1994. Perhaps I'll post my reminiscences of that long and fascinating night another time. For now I'm posting for entirely selfish reasons.

I bought a t-shirt at the show. It's black with a sundial and "Pink Floyd" on front and a sort of sunburst design on back with the words "North American Tour 1994" at the bottom. I looooooove that shirt. I have loved it so much that, eleven years later, it's so worn that I'm afraid to wash it anymore. My mission is to find another of the same shirt so I can retire the relic and still get to wear a great tshirt.

Does anyone know the shirt in question and where I might find one for sale?

Or, alternately, you could ignore my selfish request and just post back about what your favorite PF t-shirt design is your favorite. Whatever works.

Thanks for your time!
Skniff

Hi Skniff, welcome along. A MOD will come along in a minute and direct you to the rules and guidelines. They'll also get out the paddling stick for you not using the Search Button. If you type in 'T shirts' you'll get a few answers to look at. Once you've rubbed cream on your behind ( no sniggering at the back) from the paddling stick, you'll meet lots of nice people who will chat about a variety of subjects.

By the way, I know how you feel about the T shirt. I had a 'Mickey Hart's Rolling Thunder' T shirt which was my pride and joy, until my mother gave it away to the local Oxfam shop. I've always wondered about that T shirt and whether it is being worn by some chap in Zimbabwe or wherever.....

....sadly my other passed away a few years back. I was reminiscing from the days of my youth. Nowadays we have a nice matron in here who comes along, and helps us with the fiddly bits, like doing the buttons up on your trousers and changing the chaps ( Dr Cheese) who have been incontinent.

Re: I'm on a mission

Not sure where the best place is to get a replacement, sadly. I have seen shirts matching that description on eBay from time to time. As for my own personal favourite design... well, I have to say that this one is quite fetching.

Re: I'm on a mission

Actually I made the same mistake of wearing my RW ITF 99 concert shirt. It now has holes and is pretty much faded so that I am the only one who knows where it came from. I have since stopped wearing it, but if I saw a replacement I'd most likely buy it.
