My bf is all about Coors Light, and I've been giving him no end of crap about drinking 'canoe beer' and stuff. But, proving what a great guy he is, he keeps his fridge full of Yuengling for me so I have something to drink at his house. I do the same for him, but I tell him it has to be on a different shelf, it's not allowed to hang out with the 'real beer'. (I'm so mean)


On a side note, I see Obama's beer of choice is PBR. We may not be on the same page politically, but at least now I know we could have a beer together.

Flyin' Fish Farmhouse Summer Ale is a real smooth ale. Great in summer months hence the name. Very good brewery in Cherry Hill New Jersey. I highly recommend it.

I drink Old Style and PBR because they are inexpensive.
In Wisconsin I could get a case of 30 PBRs for about $10 when it was on special.

Yards Brawler Pugilist Style Ale is a Champion.

As I have recently (in the last 6 months) turned 21 I've gone out on a real beer experimenting hey day.

While I was listening to surf music I drank a lot of Landshark and Longboard Island Lager. Lately I've been enjoying belgian ales.
There's a local brew here called Fireman's Four which is top notch.
If I drink cheap beer it's either Lone Star or Miller Lite.

I'm lucky to live in Michigan. We have the best microbreweries in the damn country. Founders, New Holland, Bell's, Arcadia and Short's. Damn good stuff. Not that crap they make in St. Louis.

New Holland is very good. My sister goes to college in Holland and I make excuses to see her so I can go to the brewery.

Dragon's Milk....The Poet...Mad Hatter......holy sh*t!!!

The Poet is my favorite, although I haven't tried all of them. There are also a few stores here in Chicago where I can find New Holland beer, which is pretty great.
