Waters new C.D?

I know that Roger Waters is reuniting with Pink Floyd for the Live 8 thing but I also heard that Roger wrote some new stuff. If this is true could this mean that a new album could be amde with Roger Waters included? I'm not sure if this is even true but could someone clarify for me please?

Roger has been working on his next solo album for the last 100 years and I believe it's due for release sometime this century, a bit like Dave's, but it won't be a Pink Floyd album if that's what your asking.

I've heard the release will be the fall of 2005. But thats just another rumour. The Live8 reunion was also a rumour Stay alive and you'll see.

I thought that the Live 8 was a for sure thing.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for a new RW release.

Earlier this year, we heard that Heartland (Roger's rock'n'roll album) was due to be released in mid-2006 with a USA tour following around that time. But the PF reunion may perhaps displace that a bit.

Why USA? No Europe at all?

I think because the album is about America and Roger's experiences living there. Maybe he'll do a world tour when he's finished.

I have read that Roger will release his opera album Ca Ira on my birthday, Sept.27th and that his rock album is done but not mixed and put together, and hey who knows, maybe he'll get dave to put down some licks for the rock album. It has to be good news that they will play together, and they will have to rehearse. Maybe something else will come out of that. Roger's new rock album is said to be ready for early /06.
