| views on music sharing (p2p programs) Well its in the news again, so i figured i'd make a post about it. Was wondering what you views are on p2p sharing programs and downloading music. I personaly dont have a problem with it. I think that the bands who are sueing have forgotten about the art and the music, and have been consumed by greed and they want more money, even though they have more then they know what to do with it. If for some reason my band happen to become famous, i wouldnt care if people downloaded my music, since there will always be people buying my CD, which will let me support my family. I dont want to get millions of dollars from my music, only enough to support me, my family and a decent house, if i were ever to become famous. thats my view, i have no problem with free music, and i still dont think i would if my band were to become famous some how and people were downloading my music.

| Re: views on music sharing (p2p programs) I believe the main concern of the record industry is ppl who are d-loading CDs w/ artwork to duplicate & sell on the blk market; I don't see any difference between d-loading a free mp3 of a song or taping a song off the radio. I don't trust file sharing networks b/c you could be loading undetectable viruses on to your computer.
