It's hard to be this thrilled and yet totally PISSED OFF at the sme time.

I hope there will be a "clean" recording of their set that turns up somewhere.

Re: Pink Floyd at Live 8

Yes indeed the BBC was great. The Dutch broadcast was shite and behind on it all. But I did get to see it two times.

Re: Pink Floyd at Live 8

I saw Dave and Nick talking to McCartney there at the very end....didn't see Rog, but I'm hoping they go out and knock back a couple of jars together.

Re: Well, what did we think about PF on Live8?

One of these days I am going to change the fuckin history and make PF a band again along with Sir Syd Barrett....Damn only if I was the Walrus!!! About the show....OH MY LORD THANK GOD IT HAPPENED IN OUR LIFETIME.......I think it was the biggest Gig in the sky, know wut i mean They were fine ...ppl might say roger got old with that voice, (Gilmour thinks so too I guess..) Well **** it...He Is the man still !!! Gilmour, as usual right on the money, Mason proved that age doesnt matter when it comes to the best psychedelia (or any ...delia lol) drummer..and Rick was ever so perfect when it came to timing and stuff or even the flow...!!!..and the piper Syd...will blow his flute at the gate of Dawn!!!..Loved Comfortably Numb among the four songs, well how can I not like Breathe...or Money ...or Wish Syd was here!!!! DAMN!!!...Just Hail Hail Hail Hail Pink Floyd !!!!

Re: Well, what did we think about PF on Live8?

I missed it. I guess I'll have to wait for the dvd to come out. I can't believe they played already. U2 is playing right now. I thought Pink Floyd was going on last so I just now started watching it on the internet.
