Pink Floyd Performance at Live 8

agree if f*cking mtv had the rights to transmit live 8 they should've broadcast the entire floyd show without interruptions

Actually I recorded the entire Pink Floyd set, from start to finish, from the AOL feed (absolutely no commentary, commercials, etc.)... I'd upload it and post a link, but I want to be sure I wouldn't be violating any copyrighted material rules, etc.

That was absolutely the greatest thing I've seen in years...

how do you record feeds?

If there's anyone left in the industrialized world who still doubts that MTV hasn't been about the music for years now, this should be all the proof they need.

It was so awesome I was floating on air afterwards. It was obvious they were enjoying being back together. It made me sick when the MTV idiots cut in. It's because they want you to get the dvd. Anyhow, the most lovely, amazing moment in recent music history...

I use a program called WM Recorder. Useful little thing!

EDIT: I believe AOL will be replaying the concert pretty much constantly for the next six weeks or so, so anyone who missed it should have a chance there.

That sucked big time! Cutting off Gilmour's solo in CN. The MTV bastards need to die! On the up side, the first three songs were an awesome, uninterupted, and uncensored work of art. The dedication to Syd bought a tear to my eye.

I just got back from the U2 concert in Vienna... they came here after the hyde... they were absoulte bullocks... but then I was missing Floyd. I am watching the concert replay right now on Austrian cable... Who is Robbie Williams...? PF is next.

It wasn't a patch on Mariah...... Only joking Mag-fuckin'-nificent....

Now I have an idea of how awesome it must've been to see PF in the '70s! They were by far the best live8 act. They sounded sooooo goooood! I'm still floating on air!!
