Pink Floyd Cafe Still in Amsterdam?

My fiance and I are goining to Amsterdam for our honeymoon and we're wondering if the Pink Floyd Cafe is still there. If anyone knows... that would be cool.

Re: Pink Floyd Cafe Still in Amsterdam?

The Pink Floyd Coffeeshop is still open. And it is a recommended experience for any stoner and/or Floyd fan. But what I wonder is, why Amsterdam? I could think of more romantic places....

Re: Pink Floyd Cafe Still in Amsterdam?

Lars we didn't see you but we had a great honeymoon in Amsterdam. The Ummagumma cafe is still there and its one of our favorite coffeeshops. Great staff, Spacecakes, and tunes in the Floyd coffeeshop. O yeah we checked out the rest of the city too just got back today to good olde Philly. What a trip though. I can tell you one thing we are definitely returnin' to that town it rocks man

Top 5 Coffee shops in town
1 Ummagumma or The Pink Floyd just look for the pigs on front window
2 The Doors: Great tunes,smoke,and Beer!!!!!!!!!!to
3 Mellow Yellow: Right near The Heineken Experience Cool Place,Vaporizer
4 Anyday: You gotta' try the vaporizer its unreal man
5 Old style: Its a shame there shutin' this place down we had 2 great nights there. They also sell Beer!!!!!!!!! too so they get points for that to.
Honorable mention
1 Homgrown Fantasy: Cool staff right near our hotel good selection of goodies. wasn't really into tecno Rap music scene though.
2 Black & White Cafe: Right at Leidesplein with stones tongue on front window. Not to be mistaken for Stones cafe in Red Light district. Great mix of tunes from Rammstien to early punk. It all rocked in this place.was only there for a few Beers!!!!!!!! and never got back to that end of town again.

Enjoyed our good ''nederwiet'' Mark? I hear it's the best weed in the world with the highest concentration of THC ever. Some like to bitch that these days it's getting so high that weed should be listed as a hard drug. I couldn't say myself, it's the only weed I know.

Re: Pink Floyd Cafe Still in Amsterdam?

Ah, the Ummagumma cafe...Such wonderful memories from there! Definetly worth a pop in. As is The Doors cafe. Two of my favorite places in Amsterdam, when I'm there on book business...which is about three times a year... Being a rare books dealer has it's advantages...
