Is there something WE can do to get a tour?

After that whole amazing preformance do you think Waters or Gilmore will agree to start another world tour. I do....

I dont think DG is going to take a back seat to RWs control. Notice how Rog did most of the communicating. I would like to have heard what went on backstage.

But after tonight..... anything is possible.

I'd love it to happen, but I think it would take away from the authenticity of this performance. If there is to be a final chapter to Pink Floyd, then this should be it.

Rog didn't seem to have a problem with Dave having most of the vocals.
Roger Waters has gotten way more respect from me after this, acctually the whole band, it just makes them that much better.

After july 2nd, I'm dreaming even more about a couple of gatherings worldwide for Floydians. If Bob can persuade the four of them to perform, why can't we? Is there a way we, the fans, can persuade them to go around one more time, as a sort of farewell-tour? I'm sure that the worldwide reactions they recieve about last saturday must trigger something inside them.

I don't believe it is, but if it's money (huh?) there should be some investor somewhere who can see the sunny side of it?

if not, i suggest we all go to Davids and Rogers house and ask them personaly.

Come on, there has got to be a way to let the pigs fly one more time.......

Well, here's my idea:

We can strip naked and start praying to the God of Band Reunions, and beg them to push their miracle a little farther; of course, you'll have to sacrifice a goat or your first born or something...nothing's free you know.

Are there any contact addresses for Nick, Roger,Rick or Dave to send personal letters of thanks for Saturday night and pleas for one more world tour?

Heard on the news today, don't know the source, that the members of the band think they are to old to do a tour on stage. Live8 should be the last thing they did together. (sop)

So, who's got e great idea? Maybe sending them a personal letter (let's organize!!) can give them a final push? It's been never tried before.........

Hey, this just came to me- As dedicated Floydians why don't we actually compile not only a petition, but a petition WITH A MONETARY COLLECTION, to a just cause, or to supplement Live 8, and ASK FLOYD , and this could be without Waters, to cut US, either something new, old, whatever.... maybe we can get a vote on this.....But, if we get enough of a collection, and show our dedication.. as THE ULTIMATE FANS,something might move with their agents or Gilmore/Mason/ whomever. instead of waiting for something to happen MAKE THE INITIATINE!! Now! Before they get TOO old and disinterested. If it does not stir them, maybe the moderator, or someone elected would refund our money in a year or two. ITS NEVER BEEN TRIED, unlike using CAPS for emphasis!!! and lots of !!!!!. I would pay $100 EASILY, and how many would contribute ? Perhaps THOUSANDS! Think of the power of that, it not only shows our dedication, but would move that pyramid... What does everyone think? Pigs can FLY, but you have to MOTIVATE them. Ask for a couple of hours, or even ONE of jamming...Time, Floydians, Time, those floyd clocks are ticking..........

hey I'm all for it, but I can't help but think that they are probably already well aware of the way the fans feel. I mean how could they not be? 'I wonder if the folks would like another tour'?
