I'm looking for pictures from a pink floyd concert in 1994 at earl's court where the english writer (author of the fabulous "hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy") played guitar on some tracks (i think it was two or three tracks from dark side of the moon). I'm looking foo for pictures with david gilmour and douglas adams - they were good friends.

I dont know if you've got pictures or if you've got the faintest idea of what i'm talking about but some help would be fine.

There's a moment in "The Hitchikers guide..." where Arthur observes that Marvin is playing Pink Floyd through his pseudo-voice-e-sizer and indeed, the metal moaner is indeed playing Dick's keyboard part during the intro to SOYCD. Marvin then blows it by pointing out that he can also play shit rock, which he then proceeds to do.

Nice while it lasted,

Mark

good one fixxlevy. In fact, this pink floyd humming has been erased on the cd and tape version of the radio series because of the copyrights mess, but it can still be heard in the radio broadcast.

For information, Douglas gave some information about the concert where he played guitar on two or three songs :

" It was the penultimate show of the last tour, at Earl's Court in October (?) 1994. I played the easy lead guitar bit on Brain Damage and then rhythm on Eclipse. I used a left-handed Bahama Green Jerry Jones Neptune (a copy of a Danelectro). "

So if anyone was there and has got a picture of the show, and even better when douglas was here, he would be the finest human being of all the universe!
