I really would have like to have read the whole thing on the link but it doesn't work??? Anyways, well done Roger for making a fool of yourself. AMLOR and TDB were rubbish albums ay? Lets not forget a little something called Radio KAOS??? Chalk and cheese Roger, and great to see the modesty is there. I would have used a few tunes and chords! HAH!! You probably would have taken the entire albums over!! At least TDB is the closet we've ever gotten to a true PF album in the last 20 years.

i had the same problem with the link but it did work after few times of refreshing.

don't see the point in makin' PF sounding albums when Roger is not with Dave and Dave is not with Roger.
if the 'true pink floyd' is what we're all lookin' for, it's GONE! there's no pink floyd anymore.
atleast Roger is doing his own solo works.
no matter how crap KAOS is, it's still Roger Waters, not the Pink Floyd which is gone for 20 years now.

Boy, Roger did a good job at promoting his tour in that interview.

Good Point Radiochair!!!

By the way people, check out this.

"They were getting upset ... Rick Wright had been fired by mutual consent of us all, notwithstanding what they've all said since about how it was horrid old me. Gilmour and Mason absolutely agreed to getting rid of Rick because he'd become impossible to work with."

(Taken from the same website)

I believe him, considering the fact that it's hard to believe that everything Roger says is a lie.(Which some of you insist)

Rock On!

TDB rubbish?

TDB is um, great. The Division Bell is so much better than TFC or any rog solo album. TDB is one of my favorite albums ever.

"In fact, at the time, I was having a conversation with Dave about Rick, and he was saying, "Let's get rid of Nick too.""

That was low.

For what reason do you say that--do you believe Mr. Waters lied, or do you think he's telling the truth?

By the way, I also consider the possibility that Mr. Waters twisted around a sarcastic comment DG made--that even if Mr. Gilmour used those particular words, he did NOT want to get rid of Nick Mason. It's possible Mr. Gilmour was saying something like, "Oh yeah, and why don't I get rid of YOUR friend and see how you like THAT?" Since we can't hear the tone and context in which the comment was originally said (IF in fact Mr. Gilmour actually said that), it's very hard to judge.

In that case why can't anything anyone's ever said be rescinded in the name of sarcasm?

Well, I think he's a fat liar.
As I recall, Dave & Nick were good friends, they rejoined as band in 1987. It's just hard to imagine that Dave would say something like that.
I think of Dave as a more team oriented man who likes to work with others on PF music (he wrote with Roger, Rick, Moore, his girlfriend...). I can't see any reason why would he wanted to kick Nick out.
It's not very hard to imagine that Roger made all that up. It wouldn't be the first time...
