Actually, I believe the phrase that Roger grudgingly apportioned to AMLOR was "A fair forgery". To label it 'perfect' would have been to compliment it, and with Roger being quite so English (and a prick, let's not forget), I really can't see that happening.

Roger plays the bass so beatifully, he plays a mean guitar I've heard. That Comfortably Numb solo could have been so good if Rog would have wrote and played it ....

We will never know.
