He looks like him, but is he a good actor? I haven't seen him in anything. Anyway I remember talking about this in the pink floyd movie forum a long time ago. Just to recap Roger Waters - Zach Braff David Gilmour - Giovanni Ribisi Nick Mason - Luke Wilson Note: He's on the far left. He doesn't have the right kind of beard that Mason usually had in that pic but you get the idea. Rick Wright - William Fichtner And for Syd I think Ed Norton would be awesome, but Johnny Depp could be good too.

He's a rather good actor, a young actor though... and the only 2 roles I have personally seen him in were kinda quiet psychotic teenage killers who kept to themselves a lot..... He was one of the main guys in the movie Murder By Numbers (w/ Sandra Bullock) .... and I also saw him in a VERY similar role on and episode of Law and Order. But he is a good actor from everything I have seen/heard. Wether he can play guitar or not is another thing.

| Re: Johnny Depp's idea for a movie about Syd and PF Michael Pitt was in Hedwig and the angry inch. He was great in it and pretty damn hot too. He would do a PERFECT Gilmour. Johnny Depp as Syd? Hell yeah.

| Re: Johnny Depp's idea for a movie about Syd and PF If anyone here has seen The Two Towers, you'd probably agree that Eomer, who was played by Karl Urban, looks a lot like Gilmour. He'd probably make a good candidate.
