Talking Old Time Pink Floyd Fan - Newb Here

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here.

I saw my first Pink Floyd concert in Philadelphia, PA back in June of 1975.
First set was the entire Wish You Were Here album, followed by the DSOM and Echoes was the sole encore song. Leaving the venue that night, concerts, as I had come to know them would never be the same.

Now, 30 years later there is one conclusive statement about Pink Floyd live I'd like to share...

Attending a Floyd concert is very much like losing one's virginity ...once you've been to one, there is no turning back, nor is there a substitute.

Id agree i went to live 8 which is the only time ive seen them live and they were incredeible despite only playing for around 20 mins it was probably the best live musical performance i have ever seen by a long way. Still the gig you went to sounds very very decent. I would give me soul to go to that gig.
