| Hello everybody, I need your help, somebody told me that there is a rare version of The Wall that Pink Floyd played live in Tokyo in 1985 and I would like to know if it is true and how to get it. Any information to this matter please send it to this e-mail, joseluismiguelanez@hotmail.com and would be really helpful. Thank you very much in advance |

| Re: Tokyo version of The Wall, HELP Hello again, I´ve found that Pink Floyd played in Tokyo during the 6th and 7th of march of 1972 and during the 3rd and 6th of March of 1988, could it be that in one of those concerts played The Wall??? and the most important thing was it recorded??? If so, what is the name of the CD or how can I get it?? Thanx a lot |

| Re: Tokyo version of The Wall, HELP The Wall was pretty damn far from being out at the time. But there is a good possibility they played some sort of show there at the time. Botley is the man when it comes to things like this.

| Re: Tokyo version of The Wall, HELP Floyd played in Japan in 1972 and in 1988- in 72, it was pretty much their standard "Eclipsed" show of that time (I know I've got a live tape somewhere from that Japanese tour, Sapporo perhaps I'd have to dig it out). In 1988 the only thing noteworthy was that they played "great gig" for the first time on that tour when they went to Japan. Now, I am guessing that the confusion here comes from a recent Japanese DVD bootleg of the London 8/9/80 Wall show. |
