Question The Wall should I buy it?

Im new here so I hope Im not doing anything Im not supposed to. I read the rules and it dident seem like. I am a huge Pink Floyd fan. And I especially love the waal beacuse it A Was the first Pink Floyd album I listened to, and B It feels like it some how is my life he´s singing about. I stop my rambling. I found this http://www.tradera.com/auction/aid_15057791#pic

It´s from an Swedish internet auction. I realy whant it but it cost 750kr Whitch is a lot of money. I could by 7 cds for that money. But I realy realy whant it. No one has placed any bids so my dad says that I should just wait and it will turn up again whit a lower price. But you know how it is when you realy whant something. Im scared that it whount come back again. Or that a lot will bid and it will cost even more. Maybe I should email the seller? This became a lot longer then it was supposed to. Sorry
Matilda

Re: The Wall should I buy it?

That's a little less than $100 US, which doesn't seem unreasonable, considering what production vinyl goes for here. I recently saw a regular copy going for $75 at a used record place here in Sacramento.

I am not a collector, so that's only my uninformed opinion.

Re: The Wall should I buy it?

It'll make a lovely collectors item but the sound quality is probably atrocious.

Re: The Wall should I buy it?

Well turns out I probably get it for less now. She seems kind of eager to sell it.

Re: The Wall should I buy it?

It looks nice, but as Botley (correctly) pointed out- it may not thrill the ears too much.

However, there are some absolutely top notch vinyl ROIOs still doing the rounds, so it's your choice.

Good luck!
