17,100 above sea level! Woah! In Santa Fe it's 7500 and I thought that was high.
Listen: you should try drinking at such a high altitude. In California it takes at least 9 shots of Vodka to mess me up, in Santa Fe it took only 3 or 4. Imagine....at 17,100 I would be on the floor before I finished my first shot! People up there must save a lot of money on alcohol.....

Re: The one and only official Photographers thread..

Well, I think I have already posted the best ones but I'll scratch the barrel once more:

Ponts' church

There are several things that I like to do when taking a photograph here: a (partial) view of the sky, a photograph of a tower or a monument from below and a frame (sort of) of plants.

More than a month ago I went to Tarragona which is the ancient Tarraco from Roman times. It is a relatively important city now and it surely was one of the most important cities of the ancient "Hispania" in the Roman Empire. There is an amphitheatre there and, though it doesn't come close to Pompeii, it is still nice and it is on the coast line so you get a view both of the amphitheatre and the sea. I took some pictures of it but I have to finish the camera's film (you see, I still work with films, I haven't got a digital camera, I'm primitive like that ) so I can post the pictures here. It'll get some time since I also want to go to other places to take pictures but I'm being very busy at work right now

Keep the films! in my opinion, nothing can beat film photography. I sure would have stuck to it if it wasn't for the fact that if I wanted a diploma in professionnal photography, I had to go with the flow and buy a digital camera. I do like the new toy, I almost always work with it now, but I absolutely love to take the good old 35mm out. The whole process of developping the film and the waiting to see what your photos look like is the greatest thing. sure beats the click-and-see technology...but sadly it's dissapearing fast. too fast for me.

oh and great picture by the way! I love "frame in frame" compo

Re: The one and only official Photographers thread..

This is pure art I reckon, in the darkness there is The Toilet. It provides the light at the end of your tunnel, it relieves you from your inner burdens. And it also has a cool shower on the left behind the wall, it plays a great part in making this garage what it is and should be. Who knows, if you're lucky I might even expose The Kitchen one of these days.
