| Things you enjoy most This is like the opposite of the "What annoys you most" thread. Post rare things you enjoy (or things only you seem to enjoy). I'll start with: 1. Bagpipe music 2. Walking bare foot 3. Listening to music on the rooftop of my house 4. When it's sunny and windy 5. Big clouds 6. Having completely pointless conversation or asking pointless question (yes, I'm a philosopher) 7. Eating greasy food 8. Triming my fingernails (i love that clicky sound) 9. Strong/bitter coffee with lots of sugar 10. Dancing ridiculously when nobody is watching (but i guess everybody those that) 11. looking in the eyes of someone you like without saying a word 12. Blue skies 13. The smell of wet dirt I'm sure I'll remember a lot more of these later Have fun

| Re: Things you enjoy most amen with # 1-2-6-10-11 1. music. anywhere. anytime. 2. eating really good food with good friends. 3. waking up in the arms of your loved one and getting back to sleep, smiling. 4. cats. aren't they fascinating? 5. turning on the radio to a song you really like. 6. when your crush says "hello" and you can't help but smile like an idiot because you're so happy about it. (haha, I sound like a 14 years old) 7. just doing whatever you want without giving a damn about it. 8. waking up early in the morning and watching the snow/rain fall outside. 9. going to a see a band you really like. 10. finally being able to play a song on guitar that you've been trying to do for quite a while. 11. spending hours and hours in the darkroom trying to get the perfect photograph. 12. this one goes to my dear floydian friend (aka the crush) that's it for now, I'll think of some more later.

| Re: Things you enjoy most - Coming home after a piss tiring day, irritated and snappy-angry... only to see a body of bounding fur with a thumping tail all excited to see you like it's never ever seen you before and that you are it's best and only friend. Yes, I love dogs - Sharing a quiet drink and conversation with close and intimate friends. - Opening the throttle on my motorcycle and feel that wind whip my face and hair - Flying. Anything. Anywhere. Anytime. The experience alone when you feel the machine lift of the ground is exhillerating.... - Teaching a young child how to crawl, walk, brush their teeth etc. for the first time. And an even better feeling is see their happy excited and proud faces when they do it on their own... - Having a baby/infant curl up in your arms as you soothe it to sleep. - The cameraderie between friends and comrades. The relationship I share with my old company and Regiment. Few things can compare. Fewer things are as complex to explain. - Helping make the difference between health and sickness. Life and death. Helping others help themselves leads more productive, enriching and rewarding lives. Every single day of your life. EDIT ::: Ooooh yeah, violent weather too. Like thunderstorms and howling monsoons. - I also enjoy 'fireworks' -- both the harmless party kind and the 'military' kind That's it for now I think....

| Re: Things you enjoy most here's some more pulling an all nighter with a friend and a bottle or several of a good red the excitement of having a concert ticket in your hand cooking that strange feeling you have for an hr or so after seeing a really good film Lily.. I could not second more the "spending hours and hours in a dark room trying to get the perfect photograph.." I loved doing that.. my photography teacher hated it cos I took so long and used so much paper.. haha

more stuff: -sitting down after a really hard day and just do nothing. -listening to an album I haven't heard in a while and get that "whoa, I had forgotten how great it was" feeling. -when it's almost dark outside and I'm laying down listening to "echoes" with headphones on. the dark blue of the sky fits just so well with the mood of the song. -laughing out of my mind. especially when I don't know why I'm laughing and people start laughing with me and after a while you have 10 people laughing like madcaps for no reason at all.
