Drugs

Well I mean,if you use drugs then you feel more relaxed and all the barriers in your mind are taken away. But you know how drugs are said to give you new visions? Need I say more.Yes I do,if I play guitar sober,I'm not as creative as when I'm drunk, cause I tend to get extremely emotional when drunk.Yes and in the case of beer, yes all the barriers in my mind are taken away immediately. But one more addition, lets keep this thread on the topic,Radiohead, and not stupid politics like on the "Post your favourite quote or maxim" thread.

Re: Radiohead - The new Pink Floyd?

Ok.

I just downloaded a Radiohead version of WYWH - my first Radiohead piece of music - and in all honesty I have to say I was unimpressed.

Re: Radiohead - The new Pink Floyd?

OMG,that WYWH version sucks! If you want a good Radiohead, start off with Fake Plastic Trees, then Paranoid Android and Airbag, then How To Disappear Completely and finally Knives Out and Pyramid Song. From there on,download even more and then buy the albums.

SORRY

"If you want a good Radiohead"
Correction "If you want good Radiohead music".

Re: Radiohead - The new Pink Floyd?

Alas, Bride, what you just listened to was not Radiohead. It was in fact Sparklehorse, featuring Thom Yorke from Radiohead, in which he has a rather miniscule vocal part over a phone. If you want to listen to Radiohead, download How To Disappear Completely or Everything In Its Right Place or Paranoid Android. Or the entire albums of OK Computer and Kid A.

Or Paranoid Android. That's become one of my favorite Radiohead songs, as of late.

Re: Radiohead - The new Pink Floyd?

I'm afraid I don't care for Radiohead. Anyway I think I don't need anything like "new pink floyd". I wish new artists were just themselves.

By the way, I am looking for an excuse to use this smilie it looks like a good pint of Guinness!

Is it me, or does the part near the end, with all the harmony vocals, sound a bit like the end to A Saucerful of Secrets?
