WOW... I just got back form the early matinee of "Pirates of the Carribean"

I know there was some interest about this film on other threads.....so....GO SEE IT!

A real swashbuckler, old school. a GREAT FILM!

Cast was wonderful, Orlando and Johnny are great. The special effects are very cool (won't tell ya.. I don't want to ruin it for you, just watch the last fight scene between Barbosa and Sparrow)

I loved it

You gotta check this one out.

Hmmm I wonder if the local constabulary would be mightly upset if I mounted a swivel gun on the bow of my Catalina 22, ran black sails, and had a parrot on me shoulder... Haarrggggg..




I would have made a damn fine pirate laddy.....

Hmm...I didn't think it'd be agood, but if you say so...is it true it's based on the Disneyland ride? It was my favourite after the Star Wars ride...(*dork*)

I don't know if it's based on the ride or not....maybe... I just really enjoyed it..


Of course I am a sailor and I enjoy kicking around the Carribean when I get the chance....so I may have been biased anyway..

Certainly, we all know all movies should include at least one pirate/sailor, no excuse. A pirate makes everything better just coz he's there.
