Jean Michel Jarre - any fans here?

i personally am a huge fan of Jean Michel Jarre and his music.... been so for quite a few years now, and i'm amassing a very big collection of bootlegs/rarities and other things, and enjoying it.... a great hobby....

anyways, is anyone else here a fan of Jean Michel Jarre?

Ditto, apart from deciding he was shite. I just haven't listened to him in years.

My last dabble was CONCERT IN CHINA and a little of ZOOLOOK. Was cancelled out of the first Destination Docklands and was given hugely crappy seats for the follow up but the pyrotechnics and sound were brilliant.

as for Docklands, i personally think that was one of (it not THE) weakest concert he's ever done....

Perhaps he was just working out his stunts on Docklands.

At the time I did like Oxygene and Magnetic Fields was ok, I've heard other stuff of his but I just grew out of listening to synthesizer doodling, even the mighty Tangerine Dream have fallen out of my musical radar and they always pissed all over Monsewer Jarre.

I agree with the good Doc, Tangerine Dream were far superior.
