Harry Potter

OK, you either hate it or love it.
I, personally, love it. Firstly I fell in love with the books but I do own both of the DVDs, who can go past cute little Daniel Radcliffe.
JK Rowling has created something that many writers have been trying to achieve since such greats as Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl.
So do you think it's all just a whole load of crap or one of the great children's literary works of our time?

cheers

Re: Harry Potter

I wouldn't call them literature, but I think they're great books, and very well written. Good stories, but not a ton more.

Re: Harry Potter

Richmal Crompton is far superior to old JK imo, classic childrens "literature" and very funny too.
