I actually like the Red Hot Chili Pepper's version of Love Rollercoaster better than the Ohio Players'.

I think Primus' version of Have a Cigar is good, too.

Yesterday I heard 3 excellent covers of Floyd songs (they came as bonus songs on a new CD I got). It was "Your Possible Pasts" (done VERY well), "One of the Few," and "Goodbye Cruel World," all done by Anathema. Interesting selection, I thought.

Also, Gary Jules' cover of "Mad World" is quite good.

Ashes version of Does your mother know is pretty good too. Anyone heard Korns version of Another brick in the wall? Bet its terrible!

The J Geils band's version of 'First I look at the purse' which I think was originally by the Contours in '65. It's on the album Full House (live).
