so today's my 19th birthday, and I was thinking about all those gifts I got in the past years and decided that the best one would be my first camera. How about yours?

At the age of 7, I received a portable radio with an earphone. It was Japanese made, and in those days it was considered pretty hi tech stuff. I remember the joy of being in bed and fiddling about with it under the covers (......the radio of course... minds like sewers). I used to pick up the American Forces Network and Radio Luxemburg which seemed to have some pretty good music in those far off times.

Firstly happy birthday Lily. I dont really regard birthdays as a big deal myself, I really couldnt be arsed if I got nothing for my birthday, but in answer to the question, I think I'd have have to say my 30th, my sister payed towards a trip to Norway for me, which was enjoyable, although the beer prices were rather high, and £17 for a pizza is really taking the piss, but nevertherless, an enjoyable trip and a break from the norm.

Happy Birthday Lily!

My last birthday my best friend got me a copy of the Frances the Mute single on green marble vinyl. That was possibly the best present ever.

cheers

Hmm this is a hard one, I would say my first guitar since I think most of the money came as presents and paper route

When I was 6, It was the year that The Empire Strikes Back had stunned the World with the opening battle in the snow, featuring the massive Imperial walkers of which the toy version had come into the shops in time for xmas , so you can imagine my delight when I unwrapped the lastest, biggest present, come the morning of the snowiest 25th that I remember, and revealed

I'm only 24 and I don't remember many birthdays at all. (Damn I'm gonna die of Alsheimer's.) But, I remember, when I was three I got a litte rocking chair. For some reason I thought it was the coolest rocking chair ever. Today, I have know idea why.

Re: best birthday gift so far...

Happy birthday...

I would regale everyone with the "presents" I recieved on the morn of my 19th B-day (most assuredly the best I ever got)... But I will refrain, due to

1) Mixed company
2) Persons under the age of 21
3) Forum rules and guidelines

PM me for details if you like.
