| Re: kinga crimson It's just you, that album ("In the Court of the Crimson King") is one of the greatest albums ever made. And that isn't even the "best" Crimson (most Crimso fans think early Crimson was much weaker than the later 70's lineup that recorded "Larks' Tongues In Aspic" thru "Red", I disagree, however). Anyway, I don't know who told you they were like Floyd, cause other than being progressive rock, they have nothing in common.

| Re: kinga crimson Actually, I think the best King crimson albums were the first four. The first one (In the Court of the crimson King) is a masterpiece and is Probably the best Debut album ever released. It has Great Songs Like "Epitaph", "I talk To the wind", "21st Century Schizoid man" & "In the Court of the crimson King". The second album Goes in a similar Direction, but with a different line-up. Some songs on it like "Pictures of a city" Originate in the Era of the "Court" Line-up. The third album "Lizard", takes a more Jazzier Turn with Pieces like "Cirkus", "Lady of the dancing water" & "Lizard". the fourth is a continuation of the third one. The line up of the third and 4th album Included Saxophone and Flute player mel Collins, which filled the space filled by Ian McDonald in the Line-up of the 1st album. Just to mention, that The lead singer During the 1st & 2nd albums was Greg Lake, later to found ELP together with keith Emerson, which is considered to be one of the best keyboard players of the 70's, (Along With Rick Wright, Rick wakeman and Tony banks). On RED however, the only track that doesn't bore me to Death and gives me a headache is Starless. The Other tracks Stink! Bill bruford Did allot better Job on Yes with "Close to the edge". and everyone who understands in Progressive rock will know what I'm talking about!

| Re: kinga crimson I was wondering about that as well. I can understand Rick Wakeman, but not too sure about the others. |

| Re: kinga crimson yeah i agree. that little harmony part of it is great. whenever me and my friend listen to it we act stupid and sing along with it in falsetto voices. but enough of that. ![]()
