Rare Dave Gilmour Item for sale

This splendidly carved wooden fork* ( approx 3inches long) was used by Dave to eat chips, which he purchased from a fish and chip shop in Wardour St, London in 1967. It was the height of the psychadelic era, and Dave and the lads were taking a well earned break from 'grooving out'. After eating cod and chips, Dave discarded his wrapper in a bin at the corner of Notting Hill. This remarkable find was retrieved by my friend and I. Imagine the pleasure of owning the original fork that Dave used! Perhaps in the future, once cloning has been perfected like in Jurrasic Park, you could clone your very own Dave! Imagine the fun you could have on cold winters evenings with your very own Dave to serenade you. All serious bids considered, no time wasters!

* my mate has signed a bit of paper to say this is a genuine chip fork*

See my other items.

Chip paper as used by Dave Gilmour:
Three mouldy chips and a (2inch) piece of cod: fair condition for the age.

Do you also have the leftovers of that famous lunch on February 31st 1972 in your collection?

No, Im afraid not. However the wooden chip fork on offer is a real collectors item, and would enhance the collection of any Pink Floyd fan. In case you are not from the UK, I should mention that you do not see these forks supplied nowadays in many chip shops in the UK. Those which do supply them, usually have inferior plastic ones which are manufactured in China.

Re: Rare Dave Gilmour Item for sale

Being more of a Cod collector as well as Floydian stuff, I have a question. Is it Icelandic Cod or the more common North Atlantic variety?

If It's Icelandic, that would compliment two of my collections..

I cannot be 100% sure of the fishes origin, however my good friend Captain Haddock ( an old salty sea dog) assures me that it has the look of a fish from the "Icelandic waters arrrrrrrrrr". Seemingly Icelandic fish sport a small coat, not dissimilar to that worn by Eskimos? The North Atlantic cod skin is slack and not dissimilar to a pair of Speedos. I was not aware of this, never having kept fish myself.

If the coat is insulated with Penguin feathers I think it would be safe to assume it's a fake.
However, If the coat has Canada Goose down, then we may be talking business.

dude, don't ever wear it and keep it wrapped safely, you don't know how it can be worth. I know people who would pay millions for a shirt like that.

If it's Dave's actual shirt let's moive this to the science thread. I may be able to clone Dave from any remnant epithelial cells in the armpit area..
