Here I Am !

Hello all !

Just found this site one day while searching for PF lyrics. Now I see it has a forum, so here I am.

I'd like to say that I am a great fan of PF (that's why I´m here). But also I'd like to say that I do not consider myself as a PF fan (not yet!)

I'll explain that: I love the music of PF. It has so much textures and lots of images and feelings pops right down from my soul when I listen to jewels like One of These Days, Shine on and the like.

But, I must admit, I'm just in the beggining of long and marvellous path of discovering PF. I don't know all their albums, I don't have ever heard a live recording, and as you may imagine, I haven't seen any video yet.

So I'm very, very newby in this world. I hope to get some serious help from you, because I will need it.

I must tell that I have the followings PF albums: Meddle, Dark Side of The Moon, The Division Bell and that's it ! I also know a lot of random songs I've heard in lots of places like friend's houses, radio and etc (mainly the songs from the Echoes double box-set). All of that being said you can imagine how difficult, but also, amazing is being my discovery of PF world.

PF is one of my favorites bands of all time. Other names would be: Iron Maiden (surely the most beloved band for my ears), Queen, Metallica, Guns and Roses, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater, King Diamond, Blackmore's Night, Blaze, Cradle of Filth, Angra, Rhapsody, Nightwish.....

As you can see, I listen to a lot of metal music. But, of course, I'm not closed minded to music. Don't worry, because I haven't built a "wall" for my ears...

The last thing I wanted to say is that you may find some post/messages written by me in wrong/bad ways. That's because I am from Brazil and English is not my mother language. When I do something like that, please, forgive and correct me. That will be great !

Hello MicDaimon...sorry MigDaimon.....but it does have a good Scottish ring to it. Welcome to the site, that was some opening speech, you may be in line for an award for the longest introduction. Speaking of long introductions, one of the moderators will pop up and tell you all about the rules and guidelines, and using the search button. Have fun, and keep posting.

Well, talking about long introductions.... well, in others web forums wich I visit or used to visit I like to give some medium/long replies. My point is that if I have something to say, it has to be worth saying, so I like to give my point in a very explained way...

The only exceptions are, of course, those subforums and/or threads which the only porpouse is to have fun

I didn't find any rule in the forum guidelines saying about the size of the threads and/or replies, so I think I'm ok with that. Or not ?
