i think they're great. both bands are what a hard rock agrupation should be. i really like slash and duff, they are so alike. about axl... well he did a GREAT job in guns n roses. the problem was that fame changed him... they (other members) couldnt take him down off his cloud, so later he did the most supid thing, after he got the rights of the name of the band he asked slash to leave, so duff and the others decided to leave too.

What do ya think bout the Chinese Democracy album? Its the most expensive album in history more than 16 million dollars has cost so far, and hasnt a date of realease. (It seems like karma has hitten axl rose, he best friend and guitarrist of guns after slash left, buckethead, has left the band, he has lost lots of millions, he's hated by every slash fan and many other people)

Guns are ok once in a while.
I will probably go and see VR eventuly, I have heard they put on a real good show.

Im a bit more of a fan of Stone Temple Pilots, they have to do with VR cause of the lead guy.

Wow, some stupid posts in here, I think Guns N Roses are probably the best band out in the last 20 years, a very complete band, the best guitarist of all time, excellent vocalist (an aquired sound but definately talented), they had two world class drummers, and the bass and ryhthmm were cool as ****.

Velvet Revolver are good but not a patch on GNR, Slash has made some great riffs and solos, expecially Slither.

Axl rose has been compiling his new "Guns N Roses" album for ten years, it's going to be some strange shit.

Edit: I was at live 8, and I thought Velvet Revolver were top class.

I saw it on the tv and thought they were shite.
