I didn't understand any of that but can I be an honourary South American? I'm taking a year long trip there probably in 2007 or 2008 and I'm hoping to learn Spanish, so I'd love to join this little club!

Its very cool you're coming! Learning spanish is not as easy than english, but not as hard as french (Im talking about verbs conjugations)

What I said was:

Is there any latin that is being part of this "community" (APFFN)

I have family in Nicaragua and Argentina. I'm hoping to visit Buenos Aires next summer...it seems like a really cool place. I've never been there.

herm.. Me thinks I might merge these two threads.. but they are different..

Anyway it's good to hear that Spanish isn't as hard as French.. cos French was a nightmare.
