HELP me find this song please!

I heard this song once years ago on the radio and had it on cassette for quite awhile. It was from a live performance, MAYBE from a King Biscuit Flour Hour broadcast. It had the lyric "So I went for a drive in the country"... then I think it went, "to forget about life for awhile" What I really remember about this live song, was it had some very dramatic thunder sounds in the song. I am a fairly big Floyd fan but I have never been able to find the concert again, or even the song titke or album it orriginated from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks!!!

P.S. I'm only guessing on the era, as I said, I am not sure when it was performed.

Re: HELP me find this song please!

It almost sounds like something from Pros & Cons. Since it was live, the lyrics could have been improvised a bit.

Welcome, BTW!

There's a thunderclap in "Sexual Revolution" in Pros & Cons.

Yes, it sounds like either that or "Apparently They Were Travelling Abroad" from Roger Waters' album The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. There was a radio broadcast of the whole record performed live in 1985 from "Radio City Music Hall" in New York, this is probably what you heard.
