What’s your favorite environment to listen to Pink Floyd?

In times of stress or when I just want to relax, I put on the headphones (Sony MDR 7506 – I hate the mini ones that fit in your ears), lay on the bed on my back with my head over the side. I can chill there for hours listening to the earlier stuff.

I have a great sound system in my car (Bose), so I usually end up driving rather loudly...

My home stereo system is a good one (Dennon HTS system) so that's good for everyday listening..

BUT....

If I put my DVD's in the Home Theater downstairs......Now we're cooking with gas...
Dolby 5.1 surround sound with Klipsch surround sound speakers (5 channels plus subwoofer) and a RCA 36" big screen...
Yeah baby..

Never looked or sounded so GOOD.

Please don't take this the wrong way...I don't meant to sound like a dick...but I was looking for more of an emotional response or something to express a mood rather that you audio equipment resume. I only mention my headphones because that style helps my mood rather than the mini headphones.

I usually listen at random times but yes I do it many times when I want to relax. Most of the time I listen at my computer since my HT is in a box till I get off my a** and move out :o
but my computer speakers are nice Klipsch Pro Media Ultra's

in my bed before sleeping, on my chair next to my bed when just woken up, in the kitchen while cooking, in front of the computer while posting on this mad mad board, when walking outside in the middle of the night when I can't sleep....there's a lot really. but my favorite might be in the bus when I go to school. it take about 40 minutes (damn far school I must say) so it gives me some times to just relax, since everyone is sleepy no one's talking so it's all quiet around me. I say it's a good way to start a day.

Dark room with just the glow from the lava lamps and smoke. In front of the HT with the sub positioned right behind the couch. aaawwwwyyyyaaaay!!!

Dark room, yes, it`s the best...

I like to listen when I've got to do something I really don't want to... ie housework that way I enjoy whatever I'm doing (to an extent)

The Wall is good on a long car journey, DSOTM is great anywhere and anywhen.

this morning, I had nothing to do and decided to go for a little walk. I brought my walkman and Obscured by Clouds with me, went to walk in this small field and I layed down in the tall herbs and looked at the clouds while listening to the album, wich title was pretty appropriate I must say. it was great. I think that place is going in my list of my favorite environment to listen to PF.
