Red face Hello fellow posters

Salutations to you all.

I am fairly new to the music and brilliance that makes up Pink Floyd and welcome all those to share any musings and the like.

I got into the band because my husband bought Dark Side of the Moon and Meddle recently and from the moment I especially got hooked to listening to the latter CD it stirred enough interest to know more about them. Yesterday, we went on a whim to an obscure "rareties" shop and bought three items to start our Floyd live collection: Syd's Sugarcube, Bovine Psychosis and At The Stadium 1973. I am still
overawed after hearing the first show and will look forward to dwell into the other two treasures as well as building enough CDs and literary sources on this awesome incarnation.

I wish each and every one of you a cheery good day!

Sue

Welcome aboard! And nice to have you.

I am envious. I remember embarking on my trip down thru the Floyd trip. You should be in for a nice ride. Sit back and enjoy.

Hi, Sue, and welcome to APFFN! It sounds like you're well on your way to a serious obsession, albeit a relatively harmless one.

Do please take a minute to read our Forum Rules & Guidelines, and happy posting!

Hello Sue, and welcome. Good choices, those are all awesome concerts... but you can get them all and more for free of charge on the many wonderful Floyd trading hubs. The studio albums should be purchased, "in the flesh", of course.

Re: Hello fellow posters

you should listen to all their albums, in the order of their release, just to hear the progression of their music. thats just my opinion.
you could also get a live recording of the tour for whatever album your listening to.
enjoy
