Smile Rick Wright Live

I don't know about you, but I would like to see Richard Wright play live. I keep thinking a version of Comfortably numb where Sinead O'connor sings Gilmour's parts and Wright sings Waters PArts would be terriffic. I just listened to an album called A pink floyd tribute, with all female artists. The version of CN includes the solo in a piano instead of guitar. Am i the only one who would pay to see Wright live?

Re: Rick Wright Live

I think it would be nice, but he'd need a lot of help from his friends.

Re: Rick Wright Live

Yeah that would be great, a tour with the Broken China musicians (plus Dick Parry for good measure) would be fantastic. A female singer to help with some vocals would be all he need because he can definitely sing his own songs. Large instrumental sections would bring back ancient Floyd feelings I think.

By the way where is his rumoured solo album? I read recently that there are no plans for Rick to release anything soon, but various sources in the past years confirmed he was indeed working, I hope he has not canned the project.

Re: Rick Wright Live

i thought broken china was an execellent album, and it gets semi constant rotation on my mp3 cd player. but a tour would have been great. gilmour did it for his about face album. i think rick could have made alot of $$$ doing a tour. i would have gone to see it
